Public Defender reports grant changes; office to exhaust distribution number 14

Matthew Tantillo, Yates County Public Defender, presented his office's quarterly report and a grant status update, which the committee accepted as information. Tantillo said the office is "able to exhaust the grant under distribution number 14" and that staff "moved CAP funding into the Hurrell-Harring grant that should continue to operate at no cost to the County."
Tantillo also reviewed statistics for the office and answered technical questions from Committee Chair Edward Bronson about whether related resolutions should be forwarded. After discussion and edits, the committee expressed no objections to sending those resolutions to the full Legislature for consideration. No formal vote was recorded in committee minutes.
