Boards table Key Questions #3 and #4; adjournment motions fail earlier but meeting later adjourns

During the April 6 joint meeting, the Town Council and County Commission tabled Key Questions #3 and #4. On behalf of the Town, Devon Viehman moved to table Key Question #3 and the motion carried unanimously. The County moved to table Key Question #4 to an uncertain future date (Len Carlman moved, Luther Propst seconded) and the motion carried unanimously; the Town subsequently tabled Key Question #4 as well.
Earlier in the afternoon both bodies considered motions to adjourn that failed: a County adjourn motion (moved by Len Carlman) failed 1-3, and a Town adjourn motion (moved by Devon Viehman) failed 2-3. Later, both bodies made motions to adjourn that carried unanimously and the joint meeting was adjourned at 4:04 p.m.
