The Planning Commission reviewed staff-prepared draft conditions for a special-use permit application by Jon Copper (Flourish Real Estate LLC) for a banquet/event facility and heard that the County Attorney had reviewed and accepted revised language for Condition 14.
Tracy Clatterbuck told the commission the County Attorney focused on Condition 14 and was comfortable with the revised wording. Staff noted that the applicant currently does not intend to pursue a boundary line adjustment and rezoning of an adjacent lot, but staff remains concerned that the proposed condition wording could restrict future adjustments that would otherwise be permitted under the Zoning Ordinance; staff said that issue could be discussed with the applicant at the public hearing. The item is scheduled for public hearing on June 9.
