The Selectboard on Dec. 18 authorized staff to obtain and review quotations for a laptop to support records digitization and to secure a meeting‑room laptop if the vendor response does not include one.
Steve Mank suggested using the assistant Town Clerk desktop as a temporary digitization station and supplying the assistant clerk with a new laptop configured to match the Town Clerk’s desktop. Mary‑Catherine Graziano reviewed the Cott Systems RFP but said it was unclear whether Cott would provide a computer along with the proposed software and services. Chair Peter Brzozowy moved to authorize Steve Mank to review the Cott Systems quote and to obtain a separate quote from Rural Solutions for a computer if necessary; the motion passed unanimously.
The scanner required for digitization is already on site. The board directed Mr. Mank to return with concrete quotations and a recommended purchase path for the next meeting.
