The Vernon County Commission approved a contract with Public Safety Solutions MO, LLC for $12,993.90 to replace radio antennas at the Sheriff’s Office that were damaged during the April 2 tornado. Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to approve the selection; Commissioner John Shorten seconded and all commissioners voted yes.
The contract award is intended to restore public-safety radio capability damaged in the April 2 event. The commission recorded the dollar amount and vendor name during the meeting; procurement paperwork will be handled by the appropriate county office.
