At the June 4 meeting the Board of Trustees approved spending $482 for five additional flags and hardware to hang them from streetlights. Trustee Norma Meyer proposed the purchase and Ryan Moore moved to approve; the motion passed unanimously.
Trustees also set the annual fireworks display for Saturday, June 27, 2026 (motion by Norma Meyer, seconded by Lucas Beaty) and approved budget amendment #4 for fiscal year 2025–2026. A proposal to close Town operations for the Peach Festival and allow employees paid time off was tabled to the July Board meeting. All votes recorded in the minutes were unanimous, with trustees Ryan Moore, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer and Lucas Beaty voting yes on each recorded approval.
