Variance for 120 S. 6th Street sent to special meeting after owner representative flags property-line placement

Susan Newby, speaking on behalf of her mother (the property owner), told the Planning and Zoning Committee that a survey of 120 S. 6th Street shows a mobile home sitting on the property line and that the owner had sold one of three lots to a neighbor. The owner is attempting to sell the remaining mobile home and the two lots.
Town Attorney Terri Craig said she will need to review the documentation because the Town does not own the property in question. Chairman Steve Dickey moved to place the variance request on the agenda for a special meeting so the legal and factual issues can be examined further; the motion, seconded by Ryan Moore, carried with all members voting in favor.
