MTSS director reports funding status and improved law-enforcement communication after two-year collaboration

Kristi Krieg, MTSS Director and Outreach Administrator, described a significant increase in SBA participation rates and provided an overview of State and Federal resource funding and ongoing budgeting processes. Krieg said Outreach enrollment meetings are ongoing and noted that the district is using the small works roster for Tiger Way facility work.
Krieg also summarized a two-year collaboration with law enforcement, superintendents, sheriffs and prosecuting attorneys, saying the initiative has led to a marked improvement in law enforcement response times and strengthened relationships and communication between the district and local authorities.
