The Tonasket School District #404 board unanimously approved a new high school science curriculum at its April 29 meeting following a presentation by high school science teacher Shawn Rader. The board voted to adopt the curriculum after Rader described the materials and noted the curriculum has already been implemented in the middle school.
Board member Ernesto Cerrillo moved to approve the High School Science Curriculum "as presented," and the motion passed with a unanimous vote. The approval carries forward curricular materials to be used at the high school level next academic year. The minutes do not specify curricular vendors or textbook titles.
