Deephaven approves equal cost share with Shorewood for Minnetonka Boulevard reconstruction

City Engineer Steve Hegland presented a cost-share agreement with the City of Shorewood for reconstruction of the shared portion of Minnetonka Boulevard as part of the 2026 Street Improvement Project. Hegland said project costs will be split equally and that each city would contribute approximately $56,900.
Council discussed the agreement and approved moving forward with the cost-sharing arrangement; motion by Councilmember John Studer, seconded by Councilmember Emily Scherschligt, carried 3-0. Staff will proceed with project coordination with Shorewood and incorporate the city share into project accounting.
