Chairman Ben Crouch, Vice Chairman Charles Howell and Commissioner Art Watkins opened the April 27 meeting with brief reports on recent county business and outreach.
Howell told the board he signed a letter for Jerome 20/20, spoke at a state recreation convention with the Snake River Canyon Parks board, and participated in an emergency SIRCOMM meeting. Howell also said a commissioner in Blaine County advised him that inspections by the Idaho Department of Water Resources will not be done until June. Chairman Ben Crouch said he assisted the fair board with paperwork to place a new rodeo-arena sign, and Commissioner Art Watkins said he participated in deposition preparation and local fundraising events.
The board used the reports to remind departments that budget preparations for the upcoming fiscal year will begin soon.
