Parker County recognizes longtime community volunteers Joanne Barnhart and Bill Warren

After the proclamation, Barnhart addressed the court: "I just had to say, I was raised ... We've been there 100 years ... I'm very grateful for my past," she said. Community members also praised her volunteer leadership. The court then recognized Bill Warren; the proclamation noted Warren’s work with Chandor Gardens Foundation, the Parker County Historical Commission and several preservation organizations. Warren thanked the court: "...I just wanted to thank you all for the recognition," he said.
Both recognitions were ceremonial and no court action beyond the proclamations was required; commissioners praised the recipients' long‑running volunteer efforts that support local history and community programs.
