Board OKs hotel pool and equipment building variances on Waccamaw Boulevard

Owner Muresh Patel described Department of Health approvals and said the team proposed a block wall and plantings in lieu of the required five-foot landscape buffer because of site constraints and parking layout. Staff recommended approval with conditions; no members of the public opposed the request and the board granted the variances with the staff conditions.
