County Attorney Susan Bevers presented Resolution No. 3 (Commissioner Bill No. 3) during the May 6 meeting, a measure that would establish regulations governing the display of signs and banners on the Jackson County Courthouse fence. The resolution designates Facilities Maintenance to coordinate placements, sets limits on display periods, and defines authority for removal of items that do not comply with the rules.
Commissioner Drew Storey moved to approve Resolution No. 3 on first reading; Commissioner Andrew Stauffer seconded. The motion carried 3-0. The resolution will proceed through the next steps of the county’s ordinance/resolution process as required for final adoption.
