Horry County reports September revenues near $33.8 million; general fund receipts lag seasonal expectations

She added that special revenue funds — including road maintenance, stormwater and beach renourishment — show modest net changes in fund balance at this point in the fiscal year. Council members asked clarifying questions about the recreation fund and transfers; Todd said transfers totaling about $1,300,000 were included and that some contractual services were higher early in the year due to front‑loaded contracts.
