The Cayuga County Board of Health unanimously approved the minutes of its Jan. 27, 2026 meeting and accepted claims and credit-card statements covering warrants dated Jan. 22 and Jan. 29, 2026, and credit-card statements dated Dec. 29, 2025 and Jan. 15, 2026. Kathleen Cuddy, serving in place of Fiscal Manager Rosalyn Fagan, reviewed the financial documents before the vote.
The board also reviewed and accepted hearing and consent orders for Holiday Inn in Auburn, Vans Ridge Dairy in Scipio, Dilly’s in Aurelius and the East Brutus Public Water District in Brutus. Dr. John Cosachov moved to accept the hearing and consent orders; Dorothy Ainsworth seconded the motion and the board approved it. The meeting record shows motions to approve the minutes and claims were made and seconded by Dr. Leah Weinberg and Ms. Elane Daly, and by Ms. Daly and Ms. Donna Sowles respectively, with all members in attendance voting in favor.
