The Astoria Planning Commission continued a public hearing on conditional use permit CU25‑04, a request by Don Paschel to allow homestay lodging within an existing single‑family residence at 45 West Grama in the R‑1 zone.
Associate Planner Amanda Parent told the commission that the applicant had asked for more time to work through engineering review. The Chair moved to continue the public hearing, stating the new date and location: “to our next regular meeting scheduled for 05/27/2025 at 05:30PM in the City Hall Council Chambers.” The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote; the Chair announced the application is continued to the next meeting.
No substantive findings were made at this session because the applicant requested the continuance. Staff will post materials for the May 27 meeting and the commission will resume the hearing at that time.
