The Fulton County Board of Commissioners certified a request from the Fulton County Rural Zoning Commission to amend the 2011 Fulton County Zoning Resolution and authorized the county to proceed to a public hearing under Ohio Revised Code Section 303.12(A)(1) and (A)(2). Commissioner Joe Short moved the resolution; it passed 3-0 on roll call.
The resolution states the zoning commission identified revisions necessary to update and improve the resolution and that, having completed proposed revisions, it requested certification so the board could schedule a public hearing in accordance with state law.
The certification advances the zoning amendment process to the public-notice and hearing stage.
