The chief of police reported the department is overseeing civil service testing intended to fill full-time officer vacancies. Fire Chief Jeremy Haddix said 'Ultimate Giveaway' tickets are on sale and selling fast as part of department activities.
EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough reported that the newest ambulance is not yet fully operational but is being used as needed, with final striping nearly complete. Public Works Supervisor Travis Yost said blacktopping connected to recent utility work will begin the next day and may make conditions messy for a short period. PT Code Enforcement Officer Robert Leonard noted the in-house officer’s training remains in progress with mentoring support.
