The Nutter Fort Town Council approved a $10,000 budget for the Fall Festival scheduled Oct. 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Councilor Charlene Louk said the amount was roughly what was spent last year and moved to keep the budget at $10,000; Councilor Karen Phillips seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Councilors discussed operational needs for the event, including three additional power pole installations. Councilor Sam Maxson said he received word from Thrasher Engineering that a $1,400 donation toward power hookups will be coming to the town. The council noted the festival budget line was already included in this year’s municipal budget.
