Bryan Housel requested authorization to enter a four‑year contract with Enhanced Voting, the vendor designated by the New York State Board of Elections for aggregation and tabulation. Housel said the annual cost is $9,709.38 for a four‑year total of $38,837.52, and explained that either the designated vendor must be used or manual tabulation methods applied. The committee voted 4-0 to authorize the contract.
Housel also sought and received committee authorization to amend the Clear Ballot contract by $19,000 to add a new LMS online learning system ($14,000) and a two‑day in‑house election inspector training course ($5,000). "We have to provide the training every year," Colleen Hauryski said, describing the inspector-training requirement.
Housel announced an America250 sticker contest open to school‑aged students — K–5 will receive a "Future Voter" sticker when attending polls with parents and grades 6–12 will have an "I Voted" sticker promotion.
Both vendor motions carried 4-0.
