Staff updated the commission that the Living River project—a historical survey supported by state archives—has a draft accepted by the state and will host a final public meeting to gather comments.
"They are hosting a final public meeting to receive the comments on October 30 at CBBurry Station," staff said, noting that the grant will be closed out after the public meeting and comment period ends.
Commissioners requested copies of the draft materials and staff agreed to circulate the booklet and related documentation to commission members so they can review before final closure of the grant.
Next steps: staff to distribute the draft report and notify commissioners of the Oct. 30 meeting location and times.
