Chris Johnson of MSRF described a land-trade proposal where MSRF would convey Borchard Lane to the Town in exchange for submerged property that MSRF currently holds and cannot use. Council Member Will Menzies moved to approve a letter of support for the trade, Council Member Aaron Studen seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Mayor Smith also presented a preemptive authorization for a letter to FEMA for a CLOMR (Conditional Letter of Map Revision) review related to MSRF’s Sugar Channels Project; Council approved that authorization unanimously (mover: Studen; second: Menzies). Council recorded no dissent on either item.
