Council Member Wyatt Lundquist told the Council that the Town estimated temporary repairs to reopen the pool at about $260,000 and that Friends of the Pool had offered, if accepted, a down payment and a promise of up to $300,000 to begin repairs. "Those repairs include a new liner, new boiler, new electrical panel, and repairs to the roof," Lundquist said.
Mayor Smith added that the pool is being winterized and the Town has not yet decided the facility's future; Friends of the Pool are working on programming options for any future pool. The Council did not take a vote on pool funding at the meeting; staff continue decommissioning work ahead of winter and upcoming staff vacations.
