Metzler property in Martic Township is a 95.82‑acre farm with 88.33 acres proposed for preservation; the county share for that easement is $237,607.70. The Joel L. and Kimberly K. Brandt property in Mount Joy Township is a 41.27‑acre farm with 40.02 acres proposed for preservation; the state share for that easement is $160,080.00.
Commissioner Alice Yoder moved the resolution and Commissioner Ray D’Agostino seconded; both voted yes and Commissioner Parsons was absent for the vote. The board certified that both farms lie within designated Agricultural Security Areas as noted in the resolution.
