After the sine-die portion of the May 6 meeting, Village Clerk Bylle Long administered the oath of office to Mayor Dawn Deeb, who had won election in April. Mayor Deeb then administered the oath to Bylle Long, who was sworn in for her fourth term as Village Clerk. Mrs. Long subsequently swore in Trustees Glueck, Schierer and Bowers.
The minutes record the post-election swearing-in as the formal transfer and affirmation of municipal offices; no contested vote or challenge is recorded in these minutes. Trustee Alig is recorded as absent for the meeting.
