The Fayette County Land Bank reported that bids for demolition and asbestos removal tied to the 2026 Demolition Grant have been received and will be reviewed by consultant Ramboll. The consultant will provide a recommendation to the board at the Land Bank's next meeting. Board members were shown a list of candidate properties that are Land Bank-owned and potentially eligible for demolition or remediation work.
Property addresses discussed include 314 Fountain St., 1126 E. Temple, 1343 Grace Street, 1276 Old St. Rt. 38 NE, 708 S. Main Street, 716 Broadway Street, 410 Delaware and a parcel (707 Broadway) noted as having a Washington Court House ordinance violation. The board also discussed that some sites may require asbestos abatement and that awards and project selection are pending Ramboll’s review.
