The Scott Valley Unified School District Board approved the consent agenda on Jan. 21 by a 4‑0‑1 roll‑call vote (Jason Finley absent). The consent agenda included ratification of employment actions listed on the closed session agenda and additional hires: Christi Boudro as school secretary (SVJH) at 8 hours/day plus 15 additional days; James Friden as cook (FJE) at 8 hours/day plus eight additional days; and Trinity Eaton as after‑school assistant (SVJH) with a 3.5‑hour Monday–Thursday schedule and 5 hours on Fridays. The board also approved volunteer appointments for assistant coaches Travis Dooley (girls basketball, EHS), Brittany Smoot (softball, EHS) and Kyle Fournier (boys basketball, SVJH).
The consent agenda also covered warrants, stipends, contracts for services and materials, extra duty hours for classified and certificated staff, and the quarterly Williams uniform complaints report. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Jennifer Thackeray and seconded by Sandy Hogge; the vote was recorded as Ayes: Brandon Fawaz, Jim Harris, Sandy Hogge, Jennifer Thackeray; Absent: Jason Finley.
