Event staff gave the EDA a progress report on two major summer events and said sponsorship and vendor interest are strong.
The coordinator reported, “For 1, so far this year, we have a total of 73 sponsors in the community, which is wonderful. That puts us at just over $29,000 currently, and we have, what we're estimating to be just over $35,000 in anticipated sponsorship dollars.” Staff said Harmony in the Park will add two themed nights and expand food offerings, replacing a prior single vendor with three vendors to diversify options.
On Carl Oscar Days, staff said planning has secured headline performers, fireworks (with an early-bird contract discount), and that the event had received 72 vendor registration forms. Staff expects further sponsorships to be processed in the weeks before the events.
