The motion was moved by Supervisor Klein and carried 7–0.
The committee also approved creating and filling one legal intern position (1.0 FTE) at a Grade 3 salary range ($31.61–$35.31) effective June 1, 2026; motion by Supervisor Roche carried 7–0 and the position was referred to Finance.
Later in the meeting at 2:23 PM the committee voted to enter an executive session to discuss the employment and performance history of a particular employee; the session ended at 2:39 PM and the regular meeting resumed. The minutes record who remained and that Budget Officer Cook left the room during the executive session.
