The Finance Committee approved procurement of a new timecard and payroll system on May 20, instructing staff to remove ADP from consideration.
Committee members said the system should reduce manual data entry, improve accuracy, automate HR functions and provide compliance training and employee tools. Two vendors had differing implementation-cost proposals; Lauer moved to approve Resolution 2026-4085 with an adjustment to eliminate ADP and change to Payroll System; Snyder seconded and the motion passed with an all-yes vote.
The minutes do not include contract cost, implementation schedule, or final vendor selection; committee members discussed vendor cost negotiations but left those specifics to follow-up procurement steps.
