Mayor/President Deeb announced formation of an Economic Development Grant team to assist Economic Development Director Katie Garber in identifying and pursuing grants for village projects. The team members listed were Monica Camper (Village Administrator), Village Clerk Bylle Long, Katie Garber, Mayor Deeb and Cole McDaniel of Hometown Consulting; public works, water/sewer and the police chief were named as direct contacts.
Garber briefed trustees on recent outreach and said she is planning a community meeting with a live survey intended to gather resident input, likely at the end of June. She also said the grant process for a new firehouse has restarted; trustees were told they will be kept informed of progress.
