The Village of Metamora Board of Trustees voted to approve the 2024–25 fiscal-year audit engagement with Gordon Stockman, authorizing the work at an amount not to exceed $24,000. Mayor/President Deeb called for the vote and the motion, moved by Trustee Bowers and seconded by Trustee Weyeneth, passed on a 6–0 tally.
The board was told the audit work will take place in June. The approval came during the Mayor’s Report and follows routine fiscal oversight steps ahead of the Appropriation Ordinance public hearing the board scheduled for June 3.
