Metamora trustees approve minutes, warrants and agricultural resolution; buy culverts

Trustee Bowers moved to approve the March 4 minutes with Trustee Alig seconding; the motion passed 6 yeas and 0 nays. Trustee Alig then moved to approve the Warrant List with Trustee Glueck seconding; that motion also passed 6 yeas and 0 nays.
During the Mayor’s Report, Mayor Cummings asked the board to approve a resolution from Woodford County expressing support for agriculture in the county. Trustee Weyeneth moved the resolution with Trustee Nauman seconding; the board approved the resolution 6 yeas and 0 nays. In public works business, Trustee Nauman moved to purchase two culverts for use on the road by the south lagoon at a total cost of $1,300; Trustee Bowers seconded and the purchase was approved 6 yeas and 0 nays. The meeting adjourned at 8:07 PM after Trustee Weyeneth moved to adjourn and Trustee Glueck seconded.
