Board confirms hires, volunteers and coach assignments after closed session

Following closed session on May 11, the Kingsburg Joint Union High School District Board reported multiple personnel actions. The board approved employment of Maria Stilwell as an art teacher effective Aug. 14, 2026 (M225‑2526); Isabella Ekizian as a part‑time special education and leadership teacher (M226‑2526); Marcelo Gomez as a PM shift utility worker/bus driver effective May 4, 2026 (M227‑2526); and approved volunteer Shay Williams‑Hopper for the agriculture department (M228‑2526). The board also approved music department coaches and named Brian Oani as KHS head girls basketball coach for 2026‑27 (M229‑M231‑2526). All these personnel motions were carried by 5–0 votes as reported out of closed session.
