Board adopts updated medical benefit plans and approves summer school staffing

Trustees approved new medical benefit plan options for employees (including Anthem 80/20 plans, Proactive Platinum, Tier HAS 5000) effective Oct. 1, 2026, and approved the 2025–26 summer school master schedule and Local Assignment Option teacher resolutions.
The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District board approved an updated suite of medical benefit plans for employees, including new Anthem 80/20 plans, Proactive Platinum, and a Tier HAS 5000 option; the district removed Anthem Plan A and Plan B. Open enrollment is May 1–June 29, and the new rates and plans take effect Oct. 1, 2026 (M218‑2526).
Trustees also approved the KHS 2025–26 Summer School Master Schedule (M216‑2526) and approved Local Assignment Option summer teacher resolutions under Education Code 44263 for named teachers (motions M216 and M217‑2526). The agenda lists the teachers approved under the Local Assignment Option and supporting documentation is on file in the district office.
