Board approves $2,500 fireworks for graduation and two overnight student trips

The board approved a $2,500 contract with FA Fireworks & Stage FX America LLC to provide a fireworks display for the Class of 2026 graduation on June 4, 2026 (M212‑2526). The motion carried unanimously.
Trustees also authorized an overnight trip for Kingsburg FFA to Chico, July 20–23, 2026 (M211‑2526) and an overnight trip for the KHS Cheer Team to Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove, Aug. 3–6, 2026 (M215‑2526). Both trip motions carried with recorded 4–1 tallies; Trustee Brent Lunde voted no on each trip motion. The supporting documents for the trips are on file in the district office.
