The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved June 17 a renewal agreement enabling Lancaster County Career & Technology Center students and staff to use space and training equipment at the county Public Safety Training Center. The contract covers the 12‑month period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, for $50,100, and specifies a 3.5% annual increase on each July 1 of subsequent years.
County minutes list the renewal as serving educational and training purposes at the Public Safety Training Center; funding source is the Public Safety Training Center budget. The motion, offered by Commissioner Alice Yoder and seconded by Commissioner Parsons, passed unanimously. The approval allows continued collaboration between the county and the Career & Technology Center for hands-on public safety training.
