Board hears airline-service updates: inaugural flights, SkyWest review, Breeze schedule change, fuel sales rise

Airport staff and Alliance Aviation provided several operational updates about airline service and fuel operations. Executive Director Ed Foster said he flew on the first outgoing flight, which carried 22 passengers, and noted the return flight was an hour late. Foster also said he is working with United on multi-city booking issues and will attend airline meetings to seek additional routes.
Cheryl Martin said the SkyWest inaugural flight celebration was well received and current flights are running at about 50% load, which United described as a strong start for new service. General Manager Mark Tomlinson reported jet fuel sales rose 3% and 100LL sales rose about 6.5%; he said staff levels have stabilized at seven full-time and one part-time employee and that a recent SkyWest fuel audit produced ten action items but found quality-assurance results above FAA standards. Director Beiler added that Breeze will switch to morning operations in January 2027.
Board members asked about additional destinations and space needs; staff said they will continue outreach to airlines and monitor load factors as service matures.
