The Nutter Fort Town Council voted unanimously May 13 to move forward with purchasing a 2025 Ford Transit T-350 ambulance to replace one of the town's higher-mileage units. Councilor Bryan Gonzalez moved the purchase, which was seconded by Councilor Charlene Louk.
Council minutes note the fleet has two ambulances with more than 150,000 miles and that "repairs and maintenance are outweighing the cost of acquiring new apparatus." "Moving forward with the purchase of the 2025 Ford Transit T-350 Ambulance was approved after unanimous vote following a motion by Bryan Gonzalez which was seconded by Charlene Louk," the record states. The council did not attach a dollar amount to the purchase in the minutes.
