The planned work includes two 98" monitors in the main courtroom to display digital evidence, an additional monitor at the witness stand, new microphones, wiring and cameras, and the conversion of the municipal courtroom into a functional fourth courtroom. Commissioner Michael Berges moved to approve PO 8007 for the purchase and installation; Commissioner Nathan Leiker seconded and the motion passed by voice vote 3–0.
The minutes also list PO 8007 to Hopp Sounds at $105,324.85 on the consent agenda. The court presentation stated the grant amount is $104,072.85 and said the funds will reimburse the county after work is completed; the record does not reconcile the two figures and no additional clarification was recorded at the meeting. The county said the grant will reimburse eligible expenses once installation is finished.
