Heath Butz, health department administrator, asked the commissioners on Sept. 8 to accept a $50 gift-card donation for the department; the board approved the donation by unanimous vote. Butz also said the Health Bioterrorism Coordinator contract needs the county-required contractual language and will be presented at a future meeting.
Butz requested permission to pay WEX Bank fees — a $75 late fee and a $50 reactivation fee — that resulted from a mailed payment lost in the mail; Commissioner Doug Horn moved to approve payment of the fees while the department works to recover a credit, Commissioner Duane Monroe seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
