She told commissioners the Safeway tenant’s lease is set to expire at the end of next year and staff is working with the property owner; no decision has been announced. On the McDonald’s matter she said the planning staff has not yet received a decision from the district court.
Ferguson also said City Council recently approved a settlement with TwinStar (the owner of the 7‑11) related to a façade project and noted potential upcoming planning‑commission items: a Cobblestone Car Wash variance (setback request) and a Gray Star multi‑family site improvement plan. She closed by reminding commissioners of a near‑term meeting to begin discussing approval criteria for land‑use applications.
