At the start of the meeting Chair Ball moved through routine items and, with no corrections offered, the board approved the minutes for the May 15, 2025 meeting. "Hearing none, the minutes are approved as presented," Chair Ball said.
During the trail naming item the board accepted the consultant's segmentation as a working map and directed staff to prepare draft names, large-format maps and a structured public-survey process; the group agreed to hold the in-person naming workshop in July (staff will confirm logistics and room bookings and coordinate with DTJ Designs ahead of that meeting).
The board also heard staff updates on several development items and the new parks director's onboarding. No formal contested votes were recorded on other items and the meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
