At the Aug. 30 meeting the Board of Cherokee County Commissioners approved payroll and payables by unanimous votes. Commissioner Lorie Johnson moved to approve the payroll as presented and Commissioner Myra Frazier seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Myra Frazier moved to approve payables and Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
After approving those routine items the Board heard extended public comment on proposed solar projects before adjourning. Commissioner Cory Moates moved to adjourn and Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded; the motion passed unanimously and the meeting was recorded as adjourned.
