Resident urges inclusion of trail connection and wildlife-corridor protections in Town Plan

During the public-comments portion of the meeting, resident Michael Quinn urged the Planning Commission to include earlier planning work on a trail connection between the Goodyear area and Lake Runnemede/Paradise Park in the Town Plan discussions. Quinn recounted past access and parking concerns and said state participation had occurred in earlier planning conversations.
Quinn also described wildlife inventories near Paradise Park and identified Hubbard Brook near Juniper Hill Road as an important wildlife corridor, expressing concern about prior logging in the area. He asked the Commission to involve the Paradise Park Commission, Conservation Commission, Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, and other natural-resource experts in the Town Plan outreach and review.
