The nominations began when Supervisor Ronald Dietrich nominated Budde for chair and Supervisor Kathleen Thunes seconded. For vice-chair, Supervisor Joseph Mueller nominated Thunes and Supervisor Dietrich seconded. With no additional nominations, Supervisor Mueller called for a unanimous ballot for Budde as chair and for Thunes as vice-chair; both motions passed. The committee immediately approved an amended agenda, added an item to discuss next-meeting agenda items, and approved the April 8, 2026 meeting minutes by unanimous voice vote.
