Hinch said the project is partially funded through a KLBIP grant and that the County’s share is approximately 10% of the total cost. Hinch will review the bids with the county’s engineer and return with a recommendation; an Ebert Construction representative, Damian Rottinghaus, attended in person and said production timelines from steel suppliers were approximately nine to 12 months.
No contract award or formal selection was made at the June 15 meeting; the Board took the bids under advisement pending the engineer’s review and a future recommendation.
