The Calumet County Land & Water Conservation Committee on May 7 elected Hofberger as chair and Kesler as vice chair in unanimous votes. Hansen nominated Hofberger for chair; Lowey moved and McCann seconded a motion to cast a unanimous ballot for Hofberger, and the motion carried unanimously.
Hofberger then nominated Kesler for vice chair; Hansen moved and Lowey seconded a motion to cast a unanimous ballot for Kesler as vice chair, which likewise passed unanimously. The committee approved the meeting agenda and the April 2, 2026 minutes (the minutes approval recorded 4 ayes, with Wayne and McCann abstaining because they were not present at the April meeting).
