Beaver County holds CDBG hearing as Fire District seeks $300,000 ambulance

Commissioner Wade Hollingshead opened a second public hearing on the county'administered Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and introduced Anona Yardley and Jennifer McIlnay of Beaver County Fire District 1.
Hollingshead said Beaver County amended its capital investment plan and applied on behalf of Fire District 1; the district's application was successful in the regional rating and ranking process and the district is requesting $300,000 for a new ambulance (total project cost $300,000). No members of the public offered comment; Hollingshead closed the hearing at 10:10 a.m. and said copies of the capital investment plan were available on request.
